Hello and welcome to the blog! I am Dana Mackay (also known as Tish) and I'm a wedding and pet photographer in Charlotte, North Carolina.

There is something about being new to the world. Being so small and so perfect. Little toes, little fingers and lots of love. Only two weeks and a half old, meet Sydney. I was so worried I would break her, but her mom promised that I could not. And when she cried, you just thought the world was falling into pieces. Here’s some family pictures of the M family with their new addition. Thank you guys for having me over to meet you little one – - she’s amazing.

A little peek of some super sweet baby toes. More to come soon!

She told me not to tell her she was beautiful. She said it would make her cry. Instead, she asked me to only say mean and ugly things. The only problem is that I would be lying and I don’t do that very well. She was stunning. She looked perfect. Her hair, her makeup, her veil and her dress – all so perfect. Even as she walked down the street to the church, a person passing by shouted out to her that the man she would be marrying was a lucky guy. I had to agree.
Devon and Bill were married at St. Peter’s Uptown Church and had their reception at the Marriott Center City. Their family and friends made the warm day and cool evening an event that will always be remembered.

Congrats to Devon and Billy and here’s to many many years of blissful marriage.
Why did I say to grab a spoon? Beacause after you see this new picture of seven month old Hudson, you will want to just eat him up. I can’t believe how big he is getting and what a little personality. He’s just the cutest. Don’t you agree?

Special thanks to the B family for letting me snap up some new pictures of the little man. :)
I’m a bad dog mom. I admit it. Things have been crazy this summer with travel and they are just as busy now with fall around the corner that I forget to take care of little things. But as I am catching up and gearing up, this past Labor Day was a perfect time to get those little things done; like getting our dog, Reese, to the groomers. Usually I hate the process of dropping her off some where she hates going and count down the hours until I can pick her up to find silly bows in her hair. You see, Reese is not a prissy Yorkie. Some might even say could have been a lab or a retriever. She loves open water where she can fetch you a stick. She is daring, sassy and loves attention. She is also the first dog I have ever owned in my adulthood and well, she means the world to me. I still can’t believe that she’ll be nine this year. But for now, she’s my little baby butter bean that I love seeing every time I come home.
And here’s a picture of Reese from this weekend all pretty and clean from the groomers.

And here’s the sweet face that always seems to know when 7:30pm hits and the treat jar comes out. Don’t worry – - she reminds me if I forget.
